國防部敦促菲方停止侵權挑釁和煽宣炒作

The MND Urges the Philippine Side to Cease Infringement, Provocation and Propaganda

11月7日下午，國防部新聞局副局長、國防部新聞發(fā)言人蔣斌大校就近期涉軍問題發(fā)布消息。

記者：據(jù)報道，近期菲律賓持續(xù)拉攏有關域外國家在南海開展聯(lián)合巡航、演習，打造所謂“特遣部隊”，聲稱意在應對中國的“脅迫”行為。請問發(fā)言人有何評論？

Question: According to media reports, the Philippines continuously rallied countries outside the region to conduct joint patrols and military exercises in the South China Sea. It is clamoring for establishing a so-called task force to deal with China’s “coercive” behavior. What’s your comment?

蔣斌：我們一貫認為，國家間的防務安全合作不應針對第三方或損害第三方利益，不應破壞地區(qū)和平穩(wěn)定。菲方拉攏域外勢力頻繁侵權挑釁，是導致南海局勢緊張的根源。南海問題的歷史脈絡和是非曲直非常清楚，我們不接受一切虛假敘事、歪曲法理的無端指責，不縱容惡人告狀、以小訛大的碰瓷訛詐，不允許勾連攪局、生亂滋事的挑釁行徑，不放棄維護和平、穩(wěn)定、發(fā)展的協(xié)作努力。中方維護自身領土主權和海洋權益的意志堅定不移。我們敦促菲方停止破壞地區(qū)國家求和平、謀發(fā)展的共同努力，停止侵權挑釁和煽宣炒作，否則只能是跳得越高、摔得越狠。

Jiang Bin: We hold that defense and security cooperation between relevant countries should neither target or harm the interests of any third party, nor undermine regional peace and stability. The root cause for tensions in the South China Sea is that the Philippine side frequently draws in outside forces to conduct infringement and provocation. The historical context and the rights and wrongs of the South China Sea issue are clear. China rejects any unfounded accusations that propagate false narratives and distort legal facts. We will neither tolerate the blackmailing by those who provoke first and play the victim, nor indulge the provocation by those who stir up troubles in collusion with outside powers. That said, we will not give up efforts to upholding peace, stability and development through coordination. China stands firm and resolute in safeguarding our territorial sovereignty and protecting our maritime rights and interests. We urge the Philippine side to stop undermining joint efforts by regional countries in pursuing peace and development, and cease its infringement, provocation and propaganda. Otherwise, the higher it jumps, the harder it will fall.
